I think every artist has a love hate relationship with their work as they grow older and come to find their style and talents more refined. Below are samples of the work mostly created between 1996 and 2003 when I was first learning to branch out beyond simple ink drawings and paintings. At the time I was terribly proud of each of these images, but as I’ve aged I’ve come to not care for them. It’s like having a child I loved as a toddler, but now that they’re a pot smoking lazy butt teenager my paternal love is challenged by my irritation for their short-comings. However, they are a part of my portfolio and are good –if for nothing else– to show a time line of how my work has progressed over the years. I don’t sell any of these as prints anymore, but if you really really happen to want one of them as a smaller print I might be swayed. Just drop me and email.
