GENUINE ARTIKLE GALLERY BIRDHOUSE GROUPSHOW
The Genuine Artikle Gallery sent a variety of artists blank birdhouses and asked them to put their own particular style into decorating them. This multilevel, dragon skeleton spouting black birdhouse was my contribution.

GOTH QUEEN TAMORA SCULPTURE
Julie Taymor is one of my most favorite of surrealist directors and all around artist. She’s one of the ridiculously talented minds who brings a unique vision to just about anything she puts her hands on. Her version of Titus is incredible and inspired me to create quite a few things. One of the more simple of these projects was my Goth Queen sculpture. The sculpture is actually about two feet tall and looks like a bizarre staff. I didn’t get enough pictures of the sculpture in full before it got squished by my ex. The body portion of the staff is wrapped with wire and has most of the Queen’s dialogue from the play cut and pasted onto it. I’m not terribly gifted with clay, but I still liked the way this turned out.

BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY
Everyone with a digital camera fancies themselves a photographer. I don’t particularly see myself as a photographer beyond having taken a few pretty pictures of my equally pretty friends as a young twenty-something. I had the benefit of a real 35mm camera back in those days. These are just a few of the photographs I did in my youth that I still like. The models are my old friends Jetta, John, Brandy, and a very tormented Buddha.
