05: Crafts of Doom
I spent the best years of my childhood at the kitchen table with my grandmother Eva, either learning how to bake, or how to sew, or any number of other craft related things she did to keep me amused as a five year old. I still love all crafts and paper arts, but I like them even better now that I’m an adult and I can bring my own like of dark subject matter to them. The computer and internet are incredible inventions and they allow this world to finally be a global community where there is no middle man to keep your work from the eyes of those who might appreciate it. Still, there is no substitute for having a piece of art or craft that you hold in your hands. Something that gets glue all over the place and scraps of paper everywhere. These are my more crafty and paper art related projects.
