A June Fire Sale
As has been mentioned numerous times already, recently I had another week stay in the hospital to deal with my ever present health issues. I’m a self pay, meaning there is no insurance company helping me flip the cost for my medical bills. And while the hospital’s billing office has been wonderful in helping me find grants and loop-holes I fall into to reduce some of this debt, the debt is still depressingly large and my financing agreement gives me two years to pay the bill. So as a merchant who sells art to support myself, I’ve put together different sales as a means to try and raise funds for a specific thing. This month’s Fire Sale is for raising money to cover that last hospital stay. All the items in this sale are either original drawings or limited edition reprints that have been hand embellished. Some visitors to my site have been gracious enough to ask about giving me donations to help with my bill, which is terribly kind and I appreciate it greatly. But if you’d like to help me out I’d prefer that you did it by investing in my work and not just padding my paypal account. My pride makes me very antsy to something that feels like a hand out.
On a parting note I’d just like to mention that quite a few of the reproductions I’m offering have never been available before –some of them are doodles I’ve never even put online for general viewing. I don’t sell too many of my original drawings either, so if you like my work and would value an original drawing this is an excellent time to do so. If you’d like an item here but perhaps don’t quite have enough for it yet, just drop me email letting me know. I’m pretty flexible and willing to haggle, set up payment plans, or what have you.
